Blue Hawaiian Helicopters
Founded in 1985, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is the largest and most successful aerial tour company in Hawaii, and the only one that serves all of the state’s main islands: Maui, Oahu, Kauai, and the Big Island. According to National Geographic, Blue Hawaiian is “Hawaii’s premiere helicopter tour company”; Frommer’s Hawaii has given Blue its rare “Recommended” rating every year since 1996, and calls Blue Hawaiian, “The Cadillac of helicopter tour companies.” Every year since 1998, Blue has been awarded the FAA’s coveted “Diamond Certificate of Excellence,” which no other helicopter tour company in Hawaii has earned even once. Blue Hawaiian was instrumental in developing the quiet-technology “Eco-Star” helicopter and owns the state’s largest fleet by far of these state-of-the-art touring aircraft, which fly 50% quieter over Hawaii’s delicate ecologies.
