Oak Knoll Angoras’ Acorn Studio
A friendly character with a lot of individuality, he or she produces up to a pound of strong, lustrous hair each year. Harvested every two or three months by plucking or clipping, the fine, hollow fibers have superb insulative properties, seven to eight time warmer than wool by weight. Angora is worn by itself for maximum warmth, but it adds warmth and softness to all fiber blends.
Our Angoras here at Oak Knoll live outside. Most of them live in colonies on the ground where they can enjoy each other’s company and get lots of exercise and fresh air.
